Is food poisoning vomiting or diarrhea?

Yesterday, I ate some street food and now I'm feeling really unwell. I have both vomiting and diarrhea, but I always thought food poisoning was mostly one or the other. Is it common to have both with food poisoning?

From my experience, it can be both! Once I had really bad vomiting, another time it was mostly severe diarrhea. Sometimes both together. It just depends on what I ate and how bad it was. So yeah, it's not just one or the other.

Yes, it can be both! I've had it multiple times, unfortunately. Vomiting usually comes first to expel from the top, then diarrhea clears out the bottom. The critical thing is to keep hydrating with ORS and eat very bland food like khichdi. If you can't keep fluids down, go to the emergency.

Ha ha, it's like a lottery for misery! You get either one, or if you're really lucky (unlucky?), both at the same time. Body just wants that bad food OUT. Hydration is key, otherwise you feel like a dried prune.

It's both, or sometimes one more than the other. The key is to manage dehydration, which can be expensive if you need IVs. So, keep ORS at home. If it's really bad and goes on for more than a day, a doctor's visit is a necessary expense.

I ignored my stomach pain and mild nausea once, thinking it was just indigestion. Ended up with severe dehydration from both vomiting and diarrhea. So yes, it can be either or both. Don't take it lightly, see a doctor quickly if symptoms are severe.

Hey, don't stress too much about categorizing it! Food poisoning is basically your body trying to get rid of something bad you ate. So it can be either, or both, depending on what nastiness got in there. The main thing is to stay hydrated, yaar!

Beti, food poisoning can make you either ulti (vomit) or loose motions (diarrhea), sometimes both. We usually make a light khichdi and give nimbu pani for energy. But if it's very severe or doesn't stop, then please go to the doctor right away, don't delay.

Food poisoning manifests as either vomiting, diarrhea, or both, depending on the pathogen and individual response. The priority is rapid rehydration. If symptoms are severe or persist, seek medical attention promptly to avoid complications and minimize recovery time.

It can be either, or even both, little one. The body tries to expel the toxins, and it uses whatever means necessary. So if you're experiencing severe vomiting or diarrhea after eating something questionable, it's likely food poisoning. Just focus on hydrating yourself.

Bhaiyya, food poisoning mein toh pet kharab ho jaata hai. Ulti bhi aa sakti hai aur dast bhi lag sakte hain. Kabhi kabhi dono ek saath ho jaate hain. Bas dhyan rakhna, pani peete rehna, warna shareer sookh jaata hai.

It's usually both, or sometimes one is more dominant. Your body tries its best to throw out the bad stuff. But if it's very intense or you're getting weak, don't just wait. Get it checked by a doctor quickly, just to be safe and rule out anything serious.

Food poisoning, it's basically your body trying to get rid of something bad. So yeah, it can be vomiting or diarrhea, or both. The main thing is to drink lots of ORS and rest. If it's too much, go to the hospital, don't wait.

Food poisoning involves the body's reaction to harmful bacteria or toxins, so it can manifest as either vomiting or diarrhea, or both. It's why I'm always so careful about hygiene and freshness of food. If it happens, light, easily digestible food is key, but doctor if severe.

Dealing with food poisoning is absolutely miserable, I've been there and felt so helpless. It can definitely be both vomiting and diarrhea, sometimes one is worse. It's okay to feel terrible, just focus on keeping fluids down and don't hesitate to see a doctor.
