Is feta ok in pregnancy?

My friend said some cheeses are not safe during pregnancy. I usually eat feta. Is feta okay to eat during pregnancy, or should I avoid it for these 9 months?

Please, please, for pregnancy, don't take any chances. I once thought something small was okay and it turned into a bigger issue later. For feta, if it's not clearly pasteurized, just avoid it. Or even better, call your gynaecologist. It's always worth getting professional advice.

Oh, this is one of those things that makes me so anxious during pregnancy, right? I constantly re-read labels. For feta, the big thing is pasteurization. If it's not specifically mentioned, my mind just goes to all the what-ifs. It's safer to just confirm with your doctor, even if it feels silly to ask.

During this sacred time, purity and awareness in food are important. Feta, like all dairy, should be consumed with consciousness. If it is pasteurized and from a trusted source, and you feel good eating it, then it brings positive energy. But always listen to your body and your doctor's guidance for true peace.

Oh, I remember panicking about every single food item during my pregnancy! Feta was one of them. My gynaecologist told me that if it's made from pasteurized milk, it's absolutely fine. Most of the feta available in supermarkets is pasteurized. Just double-check the label, and don't worry too much!
