Is feeling dizzy normal during pregnancy?

I'm in my first trimester and I've been getting dizzy spells quite often, especially when I stand up too fast. My mother-in-law said it's normal, but I'm still a bit worried. Is feeling dizzy considered normal during pregnancy?

Oh yes, for me it was very normal, especially in the first trimester. I used to get so scared thinking something was wrong, but my gynaecologist said it's super common because of changing hormones and blood flow. Just make sure you're eating well and not getting up too fast.

For pregnant women, it's very important to keep blood sugar stable. Dizziness can sometimes be from blood sugar dips. Even if it's common, do discuss it with your doctor. They might suggest a specific diet plan or monitoring to make sure everything is okay, especially for gestational diabetes risk.

Normal? Madam, in pregnancy, everything feels like a roller coaster! Dizzy? Yes. Nauseous? Yes. Suddenly craving pickled mangoes at 3 AM? Also yes. Just try to keep a sense of humor and definitely talk to your doctor about it, they've heard it all!

Haan, bilkul normal hai. Meri wife ko bhi hota tha. Bas dhyan rakho ki achhe se pani piyo, khana time par khao, aur garam jagah se door raho. And if it's too much, just sit down or lie down for a bit. Small meals help too.

Welcome to the club, dear! Dizziness is a very common pregnancy symptom for many women, especially as your body adjusts. It's often due to lower blood pressure or low blood sugar. Keep snacks handy, stay hydrated, and don't hesitate to mention it to your doctor during check-ups.
