Is ectopic pregnancy pain constant?

I'm having some unusual pain in my abdomen and I'm really worried about an ectopic pregnancy. Is the pain from an ectopic pregnancy constant, or does it come and go? Trying to figure out if my symptoms match.

I can totally understand how terrifying it is to analyze every pinch of pain during early pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy pain can start as intermittent sharp pain on one side and then become constant and severe. If you are feeling any such pain, please don't wait and consult a doctor immediately.

Pain patterns can vary, but any severe pelvic pain in early pregnancy is a major warning sign. Don't worry about diet or lifestyle right now. Please prioritize visiting an emergency room immediately to get checked.

No, it doesn't have to be constant at first; it can start as sharp cramps that come and go, but it is highly dangerous. If you have pain along with any spotting or shoulder tip pain, rush to the hospital immediately. Don't wait for it to become constant.

Whether the pain is constant or comes and goes, please don't try to save money on consultations or scans right now. An ultrasound scan is absolutely essential to locate the pregnancy. Get it done immediately at a good lab to avoid emergency complications later.

In my experience, my ectopic pregnancy pain started as a dull ache on one side of my lower belly that came and went. But within a couple of days, it became a very sharp, continuous pain. It is extremely important to get medical help immediately.

This is a serious medical situation, so any physical exercise or walking must be strictly avoided. The fallopian tube can rupture under physical strain if there is an ectopic pregnancy. Please rest completely and get yourself to a hospital right away.
