Is eating rice good for weight loss?

There's so much mixed information about rice and weight loss. Some say it's bad, others say it's fine. Is eating rice good for weight loss, maybe in moderation or certain types of rice? I love my biryani!

In our olden days, everyone ate rice three times a day and we did hard manual work, so no one got fat. If you want to lose weight now, drain the starchy water after boiling the rice. It makes it much lighter and easier to digest.

Haan na, everyone has made rice look like a villain nowadays. Actually, it is very easy to digest and doesn't cause bloating. Just control the portion, ho na, otherwise excess of anything will make you gain weight.

Food is a blessing and should be eaten with a peaceful mind. Rice is highly nourishing and provides pure energy to the body. Eat it with gratitude and in moderate amounts, and your body will naturally find its healthy balance.

I recently lost 12 kgs without quitting rice even for a single day. I just started eating it only for lunch and replaced my dinner rice with light rotis or oats. It worked perfectly for me.

Rice is absolutely fine for weight loss, the main issue is people eat a mountain of rice with very little curry. Change the ratio. Eat one small cup of rice with a large portion of chicken, paneer, or dal, and you'll see progress.

You can try swapping normal polished white rice with brown rice or red rice, which has more fiber and keeps you full longer. But if you have sudden unexplained weight gain or hormonal issues, it is always best to visit a doctor for a proper checkup.
