Is eating no carbs good for weight loss?

I'm looking into different diet plans for weight loss and came across the idea of eating no carbs. Is completely cutting out carbs really effective for losing weight? I'm a bit hesitant about such extreme diets.

With my PCOS, going completely zero-carb actually messed up my hormones and period cycle badly. A low-carb diet with complex carbs like oats or ragi is much safer and more sustainable than going to extremes.

Going completely zero-carb is highly impractical and unsustainable. You will lose water weight initially and then crash hard. Just cut down on refined sugar and maida instead of giving up roti entirely.

I have been reading a lot about keto and zero-carb diets lately because I want to shed some weight fast. But honestly, living without roti or rice sounds so difficult and depressing, is it even healthy in the long run?

I am working night shifts and barely sleeping, if I give up carbs too, I might actually lose my mind! Don't do this to yourself, just eat normal food in moderation and walk it off.

Bro, zero-carb is next to impossible when you are living in a hostel or PG. Just skip the evening samosas and momos, and stick to simple mess food. You don't need to quit carbs entirely to stay fit.

Oh god, please don't stress too much about carbs! You don't need to quit them completely to lose weight. Just eat smaller portions of rice and avoid deep-fried stuff, you will still lose weight easily without torturing yourself.

I want to lose weight before my sister's wedding next month and was thinking of stopping rice completely. But will it make me feel very weak during the day? If anyone has tried this, please let me know.

As a diabetic, I have to manage my sugar very carefully. Going zero-carb can sometimes cause dangerous sugar drops if you are on medication. It is much safer to switch to complex carbs like brown rice and millets under medical supervision.

Our bodies need balanced nutrition to stay calm and healthy. Starving the body of basic grains like wheat or rice can create restlessness. Eat simple, wholesome meals with gratitude and you will find your natural balance.

I consult a senior dietician at Fortis Hospital, and she strictly warned me against going zero-carb because it can stress the kidneys and liver. Please ask a qualified doctor before starting such drastic dietary changes.

My daughter tried a zero-carb diet for her college weight loss and ended up feeling dizzy and losing her hair. I had to step in and make sure she eats balanced meals with normal home-cooked rotis. Please don't go to such extremes.

I tried going zero-carb for just three days and started having terrible headaches and mood swings. Did anyone else feel incredibly irritated and weak when trying this, or did I do something wrong?
