Is eating dinner at 6pm good for weight loss?

My colleague told me that eating dinner by 6 PM can really help with weight loss. Is eating dinner at 6 PM actually good for weight loss, or is the timing not that important?

My elders always told us to finish meals before sunset, which is around 6 PM. My doctor also agreed, saying it gives the body ample time to digest before sleep and improves insulin sensitivity.

Honestly, eating at 6 PM is great if your schedule permits. But for me, it just meant I was starving again by 11 PM and ended up ordering junk. Total daily calories matter more than the exact time.

Finishing dinner early at 6 PM helped me reduce my bloating and improved my sleep quality, which is great for managing high blood pressure. Just make sure to keep your doctor updated on your lifestyle changes.

It's basically a form of intermittent fasting if you skip breakfast or eat late the next day. It works well for fat loss, but make sure you still hit your protein target in your other meals.
