Is diabetes reversible in early stages?

My doctor told me I'm pre-diabetic, and I'm quite worried about it. He said I should make lifestyle changes. I'm hoping if I act fast, I can avoid it fully. Is diabetes reversible in early stages if you change your diet and exercise?

Yes, I've heard this too! Lifestyle changes can really help in pre-diabetes or very early stages.

Haan beta, if caught early, especially pre-diabetes, you can definitely turn it around. My brother-in-law did it with diet and walking. It needs discipline but it's possible.

I'm a bit worried about my sugar levels, and this question is exactly what I've been thinking about. Has anyone here actually managed to reverse it in the early stages? What specific things did you do? I feel so anxious sometimes.

My aunt actually managed to reverse her pre-diabetes by totally changing her diet and exercising daily. It's not a guarantee for everyone, but if it's early, you definitely have a good chance with consistent effort. Talk to a doc and a dietician.

Please don't take this lightly. While lifestyle changes can help a lot, especially in pre-diabetes, it's crucial to consult a doctor. Each body is different, and what works for one might not for another. Get a proper medical opinion and stick to their advice to avoid complications later.

If early, maybe it's less 'reversible' and more like 'you bullied it back into hiding with salad and squats.' Jokes aside, yes, sometimes you can get blood sugar back to normal with serious lifestyle changes. But keep an eye on it like that ex who just won't leave you alone!

I've been reading so much about this! Some studies say it is, especially if it's pre-diabetes or type 2 diagnosed very early. It seems to depend a lot on intense lifestyle changes. Makes me think about my own habits, tbh.
