Is dhea hair loss reversible?

I've been experiencing a lot of hair thinning, and my doctor mentioned it might be related to DHEA levels. If that's the cause, is this type of hair loss something that can be reversed, ya fir it's permanent?

Oh, hair loss can be so stressful, I completely understand the worry. DHEA-related hair loss might be reversible if the DHEA levels are brought back to normal. But it's not a simple fix. Please consult an endocrinologist or dermatologist, they can properly diagnose and suggest treatment. Don't worry too much, but do get it checked.

I'm not familiar with DHEA, but hair loss is so common. So if the DHEA levels cause it, does that mean medication can reverse it? Or is it more about diet changes? I'm just curious, hoping it's treatable for those facing it.

For something like DHEA-related hair loss, you need a proper diagnosis and treatment plan from a specialist at a good hospital. Ask your doctor clearly about the reversibility and what steps are needed. Don't rely on general info for such a specific issue.

Hair falling is very common concern, in our family also many ladies have thin hair. But for DHEA related, it is hormone issue, no? So doctor must be consulted to check levels. Then only they can say if it can be reversed. Trust doctor's advice.

I haven't personally experienced DHEA hair loss, but I know hair issues can be very sensitive. My friend had hormonal hair loss, and with proper medical treatment and patience, she saw significant improvement. So there's definitely hope, just consult a specialist.
