Is creatine weight gain permanent?

My trainer said that creatine can help me gain weight quickly, but I'm worried if that weight will stay once I stop taking it. Is creatine weight gain permanent, or do you lose it later?

Not at all permanent! The initial weight gain is just water being held in your muscles. Once you stop taking creatine, that extra water weight goes away in a couple of weeks, so don't worry!

I recently stopped taking creatine after using it for six months. I lost about 1.5 kgs of water weight within two weeks of stopping, but my actual muscle strength stayed. It's definitely not permanent weight gain.

I wish my actual muscle gain was as permanent as my laziness! But no, creatine weight is just water retention. Stop taking it and you'll pee out that extra weight in a few days.

The weight increase seen during the first few weeks of creatine supplementation is due to cellular water retention, not fat. It is entirely reversible once consumption ceases. For any concerns about chronic water retention, consulting a doctor is advised.

Haan, bilkul temporary hota hai weight gain, tension mat lo. When you stop creatine, the muscle hydration levels go back to normal na. So that scale weight will drop automatically.
