Is creatine linked to hair loss?

I've been noticing a bit more hair fall recently, and I also started taking creatine a few months ago for my workouts. Could there be a connection? Is creatine linked to hair loss in any way?

I totally get it, hair fall can be so stressful and scary to think about. There was one old study connecting creatine to increased DHT levels, which worries people. But most modern research says there is no direct link, though keeping track of your own hair health is always smart.

Don't worry too much. The connection between creatine and hair loss is mostly based on limited studies and gym myths, not solid proof. Unless you are already genetically prone to male pattern baldness, it is highly unlikely to cause sudden hair fall.

I've been using creatine alongside heavy resistance training for years and haven't faced hair issues. Good blood circulation through daily workouts and walking also keeps your scalp healthy. Just check with your dermatologist if you already have thinning hair.

Since I already deal with PCOS-related hair thinning, I am super cautious about any supplement that might affect hormones. If you already have hormonal imbalances, it's better to avoid risking it. Consult your doctor first before starting.

Hair health is a reflection of your internal balance and stress levels. Instead of relying on supplements that cause doubt, practice Shirshasana and drink amla juice daily. Natural care will keep your roots strong without any fear.

I completely understand how anxious this makes you feel, as I also lose sleep over hair fall. The fear is very real when you read things online. But most fitness experts agree creatine doesn't cause baldness unless it's hereditary, so take a deep breath.

Please get a proper scalp checkup if you notice hair loss. I ignored my early hair fall thinking it was just water changes or creatine, but it was actually a severe vitamin D and B12 deficiency. Address the root cause with a specialist.
