Is creatine good for weight gain?

I'm a naturally lean guy and trying to put on some muscle mass. My friends at the gym are always talking about creatine for weight gain. Does it actually work well for that?

Bro, creatine definitely helped me look bigger within a couple of weeks, but it's mostly water held in the muscles. You still need to eat in a calorie surplus to gain actual muscle mass and body weight. Don't rely only on the powder.

Agree with others here. Creatine is great for muscle fullness, just make sure you drink at least 3-4 liters of water daily to avoid cramps.

Why spend so much on creatine? Simply increase your daily intake of bananas, full-fat milk, paneer, and kala chana. This is much cheaper, completely safe for your stomach, and gives natural energy for gym workouts.

If you are struggling to gain weight despite eating well, please get a proper medical checkup first. I ignored my sudden weight loss thinking it was just stress, but it turned out to be a thyroid issue. Don't just self-medicate with supplements.

Honestly, I can barely manage to drink enough water to stay alive, let alone the 4 liters required for creatine! If you take it, your muscles will look bigger, but make sure you aren't lazy like me with your hydration or you'll get massive muscle cramps.
