Is cranberry juice ok in pregnancy?

My gynaecologist told me to drink lots of fluids during pregnancy, and I was thinking of including cranberry juice. Just want to be sure if it's actually safe or if there are any risks.

If you are asking because you have a burning sensation or suspected UTI, please don't try to self-treat with cranberry juice. I ignored a minor infection during my pregnancy thinking juice would cure it, and it turned into a severe kidney issue that required hospitalization. Go to your gynecologist immediately.

Pregnancy mein koi bhi naya juice peene se pehle doctor se zaroor poochna chahiye. Cranberry humare yahan aam phal nahi hai, aur bazaar wale juice mein bohot chemical aur cheeni hoti hai. Aap taza nariyal paani piyo, woh sabse surakshit aur thanda hota hai.

I know how stressful it is to constantly worry about what is safe to eat and drink during these nine months. Cranberry juice is generally considered safe in moderate amounts, but the high sugar content can cause gestational diabetes concerns. Please consult your doctor once to put your mind at ease.

I always research thoroughly before consuming anything sweet due to my insulin sensitivity. Pure cranberry juice might be okay in very small quantities, but packaged ones have high sugar which isn't good for pregnancy blood sugar levels. Better to talk to your gynecologist first.

During pregnancy, you should never take any chances with dietary changes or self-remedies for UTIs. While pure, unsweetened cranberry juice is usually safe, you must get your urine routine checked by your doctor to ensure everything is fine.

A small glass of cranberry juice occasionally is fine, but don't drink it in large quantities. For staying hydrated and preventing mild heat-related burning, normal warm water, light buttermilk, or barley water are much cheaper and safer options during pregnancy.

I totally get it, pregnancy makes you second-guess literally everything you put in your mouth! Moderate amounts of cranberry juice are usually fine, but if you are dealing with a suspected UTI, please don't rely only on juice. Your doctor can give you safe, pregnancy-friendly options.

Unsweetened cranberry juice is generally safe, but most store-bought ones are just sugar water. Honestly, don't use it as a cure for any pregnancy issues. Run it by your OB-GYN during your next routine scan visit.
