Is cottage cheese good for pregnancy?

I'm in my first trimester and looking for nutritious foods to add to my diet. My mom suggested cottage cheese for protein, but I want to be sure it's safe. Is cottage cheese good for pregnancy?

I had a very delicate pregnancy with blood pressure issues, so my doctor was very strict about my diet. While cottage cheese is a great source of calcium, you have to be extremely careful that it is pasteurized to avoid any bacterial infections. Always double-check with your gynecologist before adding new things to your daily meals.

This is a beautiful phase of your life, so keep your mind peaceful and stay positive. Eating simple, pure, and fresh dairy products like homemade cottage cheese is very good for both you and the little soul inside. Take good care of your health and let nature do its work.

I cannot give any medical advice on this, but during my own pregnancy last year, I ate homemade paneer almost every other day. It was very easy on my stomach and helped me meet my daily protein needs. I did not face any digestive issues with it.

Oh, definitely! It is packed with protein and calcium which is amazing for the baby's bone development. 🍼 Just make sure it is fresh and from a trusted brand. Enjoy your pregnancy cravings safely! 💖

Yes, it is very good and completely safe during pregnancy if made from pasteurized milk. It provides essential calcium and protein for the baby.

My health tracker app constantly reminded me to hit my daily protein targets during my second trimester. Cottage cheese is super high in casein protein and phosphorus, which are great for fetal growth. I used to log about 100 grams of it in my app daily for a healthy nutrient score.
