Is core sleep better than deep sleep?

I've been using a sleep tracker and it shows 'core sleep'. Is that actually better than just deep sleep, or is it the same thing? Trying to improve my sleep quality.

Both are actually super important but do different things. Deep sleep is when your muscles physically repair and recover from your gym workouts. Core sleep, which is basically light sleep, is when your brain processes information. You need a good balance of both for proper fitness recovery.

As a diabetic, I have to monitor my sleep very carefully because poor sleep can spike morning blood sugar levels. Neither is 'better' than the other; deep sleep helps with metabolic health, while core sleep makes up the bulk of your night. Aim for a consistent sleep schedule to get enough of both.

No, they both serve unique purposes for your body. Deep sleep is crucial for physical rebuilding, while core sleep covers your basic sleep cycles. I find that doing a brisk 45-minute walk in the evening significantly improves my deep sleep percentages on my tracker.

Before you spend money on expensive sleep clinics or smartwatches to track deep versus core sleep, just try maintaining a simple sleep routine. Most sleep issues can be resolved with basic lifestyle changes, saving you thousands on unnecessary tests.

Haan bhai, dono hi zaroori hain, aisa nahi hai ki ek better hai. Deep sleep mein toh body poori tarah se repair hoti hai, aur core sleep normal dimaag ko fresh rakhti hai. Tracker ke piche mat bhaago, bas time pe soya karo na.

Hey! Don't worry about comparing them, your body naturally decides how much of each you need. Deep sleep is amazing for body healing, and core sleep keeps your brain happy. Just focus on getting 7-8 hours of total shut-eye! 💤

I was looking this up because my new smartwatch started showing 'core sleep' instead of light sleep. Apparently, core sleep is just Apple's term for light and moderate sleep stages. Deep sleep is still the one that makes you feel physically refreshed, so both are necessary!

Haan na, my tracker also keeps showing different core and deep sleep timings and I used to get so confused. Actually, deep sleep is the one that gives you that real 'waah' feeling in the morning, but core sleep is also needed for the brain. Don't take tension, both are important.

I used to obsess over my sleep tracker data every morning. Let me tell you, 'core sleep' is just the transitional stage, while deep sleep is where the real physical recovery happens. Don't stress over the exact numbers; if you wake up feeling fresh, your sleep cycle is doing its job perfectly.

In yoga, we believe every stage of rest has its own beauty and purpose. Deep sleep heals the physical body, while core sleep allows the mind to rest gently. Doing 10 minutes of Pranayama or Yoga Nidra before bed helps the body naturally balance these sleep phases.
