Is celebrex safe for kidneys and liver?

I've been taking Celebrex for a while for my back pain. My doctor mentioned it's generally safe, but I'm worried about its long-term effects on my kidneys and liver. Should I be concerned?

Any medication, especially long-term ones like often for arthritis, can have an impact on organs like kidneys and liver. Celebrex is no exception. It's really important to get baseline kidney and liver function tests, and your doctor will decide if it's safe for you. Don't take risks.

We always try to save money, but for kidneys and liver, health checkups are a must. Before starting Celebrex, ask your doc if you need any tests. A small investment in tests now can save you big medical bills later if there are complications.

From my experience with thyroid, I know that medicines, even common ones, can affect different organs. Celebrex is an NSAID, and some NSAIDs can be hard on kidneys and liver, especially with prolonged use. Regular monitoring by a doctor, including blood tests, is essential if you're taking it.

That's a really important question to ask! I always wonder about the side effects of medicines on our internal organs. Especially with Celebrex, since it's often for chronic conditions, you'd want to be sure about its long-term safety for your kidneys and liver. Definitely one for the doc.

On the internet, you'll find all sorts of claims, good and bad, about medicines. Don't just believe everything. Celebrex is a proper prescription drug. So, regarding its safety for kidneys and liver, your doctor is the only reliable source. Get proper medical advice, not just random opinions.

My mother-in-law always told me to be careful with any strong medicines because they affect the body inside. While home remedies can help a little, for serious concerns like kidney and liver safety with Celebrex, please trust your doctor completely. They will guide you after checking your health.
