Is caffeine ok during pregnancy?

I'm pregnant with my first child, and I'm very careful about what I eat and drink. I miss my morning coffee a lot. Is caffeine okay during pregnancy if I keep it to a small amount, or should I avoid it completely?

Yes, it is absolutely fine to have a little coffee! Just keep it under one small cup a day so you and your baby stay happy and relaxed. Enjoy your morning brew!

Look, don't overcomplicate this. One cup of light tea or coffee a day won't do any harm. Just don't drink it all day long and don't take stress. Keep it simple and listen to your doctor.

My cousin just had a baby and she used to drink one small light coffee everyday because she had to finish her work. The doctor said up to 200mg is totally fine. So don't worry too much about it!

I drank one cup of filter coffee daily during both my pregnancies. Just make sure you drink it after breakfast, not on an empty stomach, and keep your hydration levels high throughout the day.
