Is burning 1000 calories a day good for weight loss?

I've started exercising more consistently to lose some weight. I track my calorie burn, and I'm aiming for around 1000 calories a day. Is burning 1000 calories a day a good target for effective weight loss?

Burning 1000 active calories every day through exercise is extremely high and can lead to severe muscle fatigue or injury. When I visited my doctor at Max Hospital, they advised a much more balanced approach. Please consult a sports doctor or a physician to check if your body can handle this load.

Speaking from my PCOS journey, trying to burn 1000 calories a day can actually stress your body and spike your cortisol levels, which makes weight loss even harder. A moderate routine is much safer. Please be kind to your body and don't push yourself to extremes.

I am new to working out and 1000 calories sounds like a very huge number. Is that even safe to do daily? How many hours of exercise does it usually take to burn that much, and won't it cause severe fatigue?

My father always tells me that moderate, consistent habits are better than extreme short-term efforts. Burning 1000 calories daily is very intense and might wear out your joints. It is always wise to get a fitness assessment done by a doctor before starting such a heavy routine.

Please listen to your inner self and don't run after high numbers. Your body is a temple, and pushing it to burn 1000 calories daily might cause violent stress to your system. Stay positive, practice gentle yoga, and let weight loss happen naturally and peacefully.
