Is bloating the first sign of pregnancy?

My periods are usually regular, but this month they're late, and I'm feeling very gassy and bloated. I'm wondering if this feeling of bloating could be the very first sign of pregnancy.

Many women experience bloating due to hormonal changes in early pregnancy. Gentle pranayama like Anulom Vilom can sometimes help ease discomfort, but it's not a diagnostic tool. Your body is aligning with new energy. A doctor's confirmation is always good.

Bloating can definitely be an early sign for some women, but it's not the ONLY first sign, or even for everyone. Please don't just rely on symptoms. If you suspect pregnancy, do a home test and then see a doctor to confirm and rule out any other issues. Early care is important.

I tracked my cycle and symptoms with an app, and for many, bloating does show up as one of the first signs right before or around a missed period if pregnant. It's often accompanied by fatigue. But a pregnancy test is the most accurate first step, then confirm with a doc!

Bloating can indeed be an early indication. But there are many reasons for bloating, including diet and even stress. If you're considering pregnancy, make sure your general health is good. Regular checkups are important, even more so if you have conditions like high BP.

I've been reading up on this because my cousin is trying to conceive, and it seems like bloating is a pretty common early symptom for many. Along with missed periods and fatigue. But I guess it's not a universal first sign.

From my experience, I did feel very bloated even before I missed my period. It was quite noticeable. But everyone's body is different, so I wouldn't say it's *the* first sign for absolutely everyone. Best to check with a test if you suspect.
