Is biking good for knee pain?

I have been experiencing knee pain recently, especially when I walk too much. My neighbour mentioned that biking can be good for knee problems. Is biking good for knee pain, or should I avoid it?

Knee pain can be really tricky, and sometimes related to overall health, just like how thyroid issues affect so many things. Cycling is often suggested because it's low impact. But for knee pain, I'd strongly recommend getting it properly diagnosed by a doctor first, and then asking if cycling is safe for your specific condition. Always follow up.

Hmm, it really depends on the cause of your knee pain. For some, like if it's just mild stiffness or muscle weakness, gentle cycling can actually help strengthen the area. But if it's due to something like an injury or arthritis, it might aggravate it. Best to consult a physio or doctor first to be safe!

My older sister used to have knee pain, and her doctor advised her to do light cycling on a stationary bike. It helped her improve strength without putting too much pressure. But for knee pain, it's very important to know the reason for it. Please consult a doctor for a proper diagnosis before you start any exercise.

Hey, don't stress too much about it! For knee pain, cycling can sometimes be really good because it's low impact, so less pressure on your knees than running. But honestly, it's super important to know WHY your knee is hurting. So, definitely chat with a doctor or physio before you jump on a bike, okay?

While my focus is usually on how diet affects health, exercise is also key. For knee pain, cycling is generally recommended because it's low impact and strengthens leg muscles. But if the pain is severe or specific, please consult an orthopedic specialist. A proper vegetarian diet can also help with inflammation, but it's not a substitute for medical advice.
