Is a heart attack a natural cause of death?

My father passed away suddenly last month, and the doctor said it was a heart attack. I'm trying to understand if this is considered a natural cause of death, since he had no prior major illness.

Honestly, a heart attack can be unexpected and if not managed properly, can be fatal. I had complications after mine and it was really scary. Please, if you or someone you know has symptoms, see a doctor immediately. Don't wait.

That's a good question. I've been wondering about this too. Like, is it something that just happens as you get older, or is it always related to lifestyle? It feels like it could be both, right? Confusing for sure.

While it can be considered 'natural' in the medical sense, it's often preventable with a healthy lifestyle. Regular exercise, like even a brisk walk daily, and a balanced diet can significantly reduce the risk. Of course, always check with your doctor if you have any pre-existing conditions before starting a new routine.

Technically, yes, it falls under natural causes because it's a physiological event. However, it's often triggered or exacerbated by underlying conditions like high blood pressure, cholesterol, or lifestyle factors. For precise understanding and personal risk assessment, consulting a cardiologist is always the best approach.

Beti, heart attack is a very serious thing. My father-in-law also had one. We try to live a good life, eat ghar ka khana, walk a bit. But sometimes it happens. If someone feels discomfort, they must go to the hospital quickly, don't ignore it. Ayurveda also talks about heart health but for emergencies, only doctors can help.
