Is 99 a fever for a child?

My 7-year-old son has a temperature of 99. Is 99 considered a fever for a child? He's a bit lethargic today.

As a grandfather who keeps an eye on health, 99 is not a fever for children; their bodies naturally run warmer. Just make sure they are resting and playing in a cool room. Always better to consult their doctor if you feel uneasy about it.

A temperature of 99 is usually normal for kids, but please keep a very close watch. I once ignored my child's mild warmth thinking it was nothing, and it turned into a bad throat infection by morning. If they seem dull or have any pain, please consult a pediatrician immediately.

I am always extremely cautious about children's health. While 99 is clinically not a fever for a child, it is good to monitor them over the next few hours. If they are eating well and behaving normally, it is likely nothing to worry about.

Don't panic, 99 is a very normal temperature for active children. Just sponge their forehead with normal water tap towel if they feel warm, and give them coconut water or fresh juice. It helps cool down their little bodies naturally.

My nephew often gets 99 after running around the house like a storm. It is completely normal for active kids and not a fever. Just dress them in light clothes and give them some water to sip.

99 is totally fine for a kid, probably just excited after eating some sweets or playing! If they are active and asking for their favorite snacks, they are absolutely fine. Just feed them light food today and relax.
