Is 6 hours sleep enough for a student?

As a student, I'm always juggling classes, assignments, and extracurriculars, which often leaves me with only about 6 hours of sleep. My grades are good, but I sometimes feel tired. Is 6 hours sleep enough for a student to perform well and stay healthy?

Honestly, 6 hours is too less for a student. I used to ignore my sleep during exams and developed severe fatigue, which later turned out to be a thyroid issue. Please get a routine blood test done and check with a doctor if you are feeling tired all the time. Don't take constant tiredness lightly.

It really isn't enough to sustain you through heavy study sessions. Along with proper 7-8 hours of sleep, make sure you are eating clean, home-cooked vegetarian meals to keep your brain active. Too much junk food combined with less sleep will just ruin your focus. Balance your diet and sleep together.

My son tried doing this during his board exams and his grades actually dropped because he couldn't concentrate. The brain needs rest to remember what you study. Please sleep for at least 7 to 8 hours daily, beta. Health always comes first, exams will keep coming.

No way, 6 hours is definitely not enough if you want your brain to function at 100%. You might pull it off for a day or two with coffee, but you will crash eventually. Fix your schedule and aim for a solid 7.5 hours minimum. Stop scrolling late night and get to bed.

When I was in college, I also thought sleeping less was a badge of honor. But looking back, it only made me irritable and weakened my memory during exams. Take it from an old timer, a peaceful 8-hour sleep is the best medicine for a sharp mind. Do not compromise on your rest.
