Is 6 1 2 hours of sleep enough?

I'm trying to balance my work and personal life, and sometimes I only get about 6 and a half hours of sleep. My friends say it's not enough, but I generally feel okay. Is 6 1/2 hours of sleep enough for an adult, or should I push for more?

I used to survive on 6.5 hours of sleep and felt okay, but my productivity was actually quite low. When I managed to push it to 7.5 hours by sleeping 30 minutes earlier, my daytime fatigue completely vanished. Try keeping your bedroom cool and dark to improve the quality of those 6.5 hours if you can't increase the quantity.

6.5 hours is not bad at all! Some people feel absolutely energetic with this much rest, while others need a bit more. Just listen to your body and try to squeeze in a tiny power nap during the day if you feel a bit sleepy.

I was reading some sleep studies online, and they say the sweet spot for adults is between 7 and 9 hours. So 6.5 hours is just slightly below the recommended range, which is probably fine occasionally, but maybe not ideal as a permanent routine.

6.5 hours sleep is average, ho na. Today's busy life doesn't give more time than this anyway. But still, try to sleep a bit early on weekends to give your body that extra rest it deserves.

If you are waking up fresh without any headache or tiredness, then 6.5 hours might be working fine for you. However, as we age, maintaining a consistent sleep schedule is very important for heart health, so try not to go lower than this.
