Is 36 weeks of pregnancy full term?

My due date is coming up soon, and I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant. My doctor said something about full term, but I'm confused if 36 weeks means the baby is fully developed.

Nah, I remember my sister was told it's usually 37 weeks that's considered full term. 36 is close, but still kinda considered 'early term'. Best to check with your doc though.

No, 36 weeks is generally considered 'early term', with full term starting at 37 weeks. Keep up with light walks or doctor-approved exercises, it helps keep you fit till the baby is ready. Always follow your gynae's advice.

Practically speaking, 36 weeks is still a bit early. Doctors usually aim for 37 weeks minimum for a 'full term' baby. Don't worry, every day counts for the baby's development inside. Just rest and wait for your doctor's guidance.

No, 36 weeks is actually early term. Full term is usually from 37 weeks to 40 weeks. The baby needs those extra few weeks to develop fully, especially their lungs. Keep following your doctor's instructions closely.

I totally get why you'd ask, nearing the end of pregnancy is full of questions! But 36 weeks is usually considered 'early term', not full term yet. Full term typically begins at 37 weeks. Hang in there, you're almost there!

I've been looking into this for a friend, and generally, 37 weeks is when a pregnancy is considered full term. So 36 weeks would be just before that, in the early term category.
