Is 1800 calories a day good for weight loss?

My metabolism is a bit slow, and I've been struggling to lose weight. I'm thinking of trying 1800 calories a day. Will this be effective for weight loss or is it still too much?

I was thinking of trying 1800 calories too, but I'm worried it might be too much for weight loss. Has anyone tried it and seen good results? I get anxious if I don't see quick progress, so I want to make sure it's effective.

1800 calories is a practical target for many, especially if you're not super active. It's usually enough to feel full with healthy food choices, so you don't feel deprived. Try packing your lunch from home and eating less outside; that itself makes a big difference without needing strict counting.

Honestly, if I could just get enough sleep, maybe my body wouldn't crave so much junk food and I wouldn't need to count calories at all! 1800 sounds reasonable. But first, let me just finish this coffee... and maybe another one. 😂

Dekho bhai, 1800 calories can be good, but depends on your height, weight, aur kitna active rehte ho. If you're a big person or exercise a lot, it might be too little. If you're small and sedentary, it might be too much. Ek doctor ya dietitian se pooch lo, they'll give you proper advice.

Yes, 1800 calories is generally a very achievable and effective calorie deficit for gradual weight loss for many adults. Focus on whole foods and adequate protein intake within that limit for best results and satiety.

Please, do not rely on random numbers found online. 1800 calories might be right for some, but completely wrong for others. Your body is unique. Always verify such information with a medical professional. A doctor can assess your individual needs and guide you safely.

It's totally understandable to feel confused about calorie targets. I used to get so stressed about it! 1800 calories can be a good starting point for a lot of people to lose weight gradually. The important thing is to make sure you're eating nutritious food and not feeling deprived, that's what makes it sustainable.
