How to work out macros for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight, and my trainer mentioned something about counting macros. I'm a bit confused about how to actually calculate and track them for effective weight loss. Can anyone explain this simply?

Calculating your macros is a game-changer for losing weight effectively. Keep track of your protein intake especially.

I’ve been reading a lot about this lately because I want to start my fitness journey. It seems we need to find our Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) first and then split carbs, protein, and fat based on that. It's a bit confusing but highly interesting!

Set your protein to 1.8 to 2 grams per kilogram of your body weight first. Fill the rest of your calories with 25% healthy fats and the remaining with complex carbs. Use a reliable nutrition app to track every meal strictly.

I know how overwhelming and stressful it feels when you first look at all these macro numbers and food scales. I used to panic thinking I was eating wrong, but it’s okay to start slow. Just focus on eating clean and balanced meals first, the rest will follow.

Yaar, actually calculating macros sounds tough but it's very simple once you get the hang of it. Just download an app, put in your weight goal, and it does the math for you. Focus more on protein so you don't lose muscle mass.
