How to wash dandruff out of hair?

I have a lot of dandruff, and sometimes after washing my hair, I still see flakes. It's quite embarrassing, to be honest. What's the best way to properly wash dandruff out of hair so it's completely clean?

I tried everything from lemon juice to curd on my scalp, but honestly, they just dry out the hair more. What really worked for me was using a mild shampoo with tea tree oil and diluting it with water first. Be very gentle while massaging your scalp, don't scratch with your nails or you will irritate the skin.

Before you try washing it with strong anti-dandruff shampoos, please get your scalp checked by a skin specialist. Sometimes it is not normal dandruff, it could be eczema or a fungal infection that needs specific medical treatment. Playing around with random products might make your scalp even more dry and itchy.

I am not a doctor so I can't suggest medicated stuff, but I can tell you what worked for my dry scalp. I started washing my hair with lukewarm water instead of hot water, and that really reduced the flaking. Also, make sure you wash your hair comb regularly so you don't keep reintroducing the dirt.

Just buy a good ketoconazole shampoo from the pharmacy and use it twice a week. Let it sit on your scalp for at least three to five minutes before washing it off, otherwise, it won't work. Don't waste your time with oily home remedies, they only clog your pores more in this humid weather.

Dandruff is very common, so please don't take stress because stress actually increases hair fall and scalp issues. Just eat clean, drink plenty of water, and wash your hair gently with a mild herbal shampoo twice a week. Take care of your mind and body, and your hair health will surely improve.

Actually, I just got rid of my heavy dandruff last month after suffering for a year. The trick is to keep your hair scalp clean by washing it three times a week and never letting sweat stay on it. I used a salicylic acid shampoo prescribed by my doc, and my scalp is totally clean now.

I ignored my itchy scalp and heavy dandruff for months, thinking it would go away with regular hair wash. It turned into a bad seborrheic dermatitis infection, and I lost a lot of hair which still hasn't grown back fully. Please visit a dermatologist early before the hair roots get weak.

Going to a dermatologist can cost 500 to 1000 rupees just for consultation, plus expensive medicated shampoos. A cheaper way to start is by buying a basic, budget-friendly OTC anti-dandruff shampoo from any local medical store. If that doesn't show results in two weeks, then plan your budget for a doctor's visit.
