How to treat hair loss due to inflammation?

My scalp has been inflamed and I'm losing a lot of hair because of it. My dermatologist confirmed it's due to inflammation. What can I do to treat this type of hair loss and help my hair grow back?

I was actually researching this because my hair has been thinning. It seems scalp inflammation can really damage hair roots, so using a mild, chemical-free shampoo might help. But it is probably best to consult a dermatologist to find the root cause.

Scalp inflammation needs proper medical diagnosis. Please see a dermatologist instead of trying random hair oils.

I just recovered from severe hair loss caused by scalp seborrheic dermatitis. My dermatologist prescribed a specific ketoconazole shampoo and a topical solution which worked wonders. Please don't waste time on home remedies, a doctor's care is essential.

Stop putting heavy onion juices and hot oils on an already inflamed scalp, it will only make it worse. Go to a good dermatologist, get your scalp tested, and use the medicated lotion they prescribe. Simple.

I am also facing sudden hair fall and my scalp feels very itchy and red lately. Does anyone know if stress can cause this kind of inflammation, or should I go directly to a skin specialist?
