How to treat fatty liver during pregnancy?

My doctor told me I have a mild fatty liver condition, and I'm also pregnant right now. I'm worried about how this might affect my baby or me. What are the recommended ways to treat fatty liver during pregnancy?

I agree with checking with your doctor first, and also try to focus on simple, boiled home food with very little oil during this time.

Pregnancy changes so many things in our body, including how our liver and thyroid function. You must get regular blood tests and liver function panels done as advised by your gynecologist. Don't take any random advice; regular medical follow-ups are the only safe way here.

A fatty liver diagnosis during pregnancy needs proper medical supervision, as it can sometimes be a sign of gestational complications. Relying on internet tips is not safe for you or the baby. Please consult your obstetrician and a qualified clinical nutritionist to plan your meals safely.

Since you will need regular liver function tests during pregnancy, look for standard diagnostic labs that offer bundled packages to keep the cost down. Stick to basic, low-oil homemade food which is both healthy and very budget-friendly.

During pregnancy, managing your liver health requires very careful lifestyle changes, just like managing high blood pressure does. Stick to low-salt, non-greasy meals and walk regularly if your doctor allows. Keep a close eye on your routine and get regular checkups.

While eating fresh, home-cooked vegetables and avoiding oily sweets is great for the liver, pregnancy is a very sensitive time. If you feel any sudden nausea, itching on your hands and feet, or abdominal pain, please go directly to your doctor instead of trying home remedies.
