How to treat dandruff home remedies?

My hair has a lot of dandruff these days, and it's getting worse. I prefer trying things at home before going to a doctor. Can anyone suggest some good home remedies to treat dandruff effectively?

Applying fresh aloe vera gel on the scalp for 20 minutes before washing is very soothing for dandruff. However, if your scalp is red, bleeding, or itching severely, please don't rely only on home tips and see a dermatologist immediately.

With PCOS, hormonal fluctuations can make your scalp very oily, leading to stubborn dandruff. I tried curd and lemon which gave temporary relief, but it is best to consult a dermatologist. Managing the internal hormonal balance is the real long-term solution.

Haan na, dandruff is so irritating and makes hair fall so much. Actually, applying warm coconut oil mixed with a little camphor works nicely to stop the itching, ho na? But make sure to wash it off nicely, don't keep it too long.

Bro, applying apple cider vinegar diluted with water worked wonders for my itchy scalp. Just spray it on, leave it for 10 minutes, and wash it off with a mild shampoo. Try it once a week, it really helps balance the scalp pH.

Dandruff can also be a sign of high yeast or sugar in your diet. Try reducing processed sugar and drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated. Combine that with a basic tea tree oil and coconut oil scalp massage.

I totally get it, that constant itching and seeing flakes on your shoulders is so frustrating. A simple curd mask helps cool down the scalp and reduces flaking. Just stay patient, it takes a few washes to show results.

I tried every home remedy under the sun and honestly, most just make a mess. If you want a real fix, use a shampoo with coal tar or salicylic acid. Home remedies like lemon can actually irritate your scalp if you have tiny scratches from itching.

In our family, we always used a paste of soaked fenugreek (methi) seeds on the scalp to cure dandruff. It is very cooling and effective. But remember, keep your comb clean and don't share it with others to prevent it from spreading.

I get so worried that dandruff will cause permanent hair thinning if I don't cure it instantly. Please don't scrub your scalp too hard with rough home scrubs as it might cause infections. Just be very gentle and consult a doctor if it doesn't improve.

I just cleared my dandruff last month after struggling for a year. I stopped oiling completely as my doctor said it feeds the fungus, and started using a ketoconazole shampoo twice a week. My scalp is finally 100% clean now.

While mild dandruff can be managed with home remedies like tea tree oil, severe seborrheic dermatitis needs a doctor's care. An expert dermatologist can prescribe the correct medicated lotion to target the specific yeast on your scalp safely.
