How to treat bv during pregnancy?

I'm pregnant with my second child and lately I've been diagnosed with BV. The doctor said it's common, but I'm worried about my baby. What can I do to treat it safely while I'm expecting?

Hey, please don't try any random DIY hacks or apple cider vinegar stuff you see online, especially since you are pregnant. Just message your gynecologist directly. They deal with this all the time and will give you a safe, baby-friendly prescription.

I got bacterial vaginosis in my second trimester and absolutely panicked thinking it would harm my baby. But my gynaecologist reassured me it is super common because of hormonal changes. She gave me a safe antibiotic gel and it cleared up in a week, my baby was born perfectly healthy!

Please don't worry too much. Just book an appointment with your doctor tomorrow, they will give you the right medicine. Try to wear loose cotton clothes and stay comfortable in the meantime.

During pregnancy, keeping your sugar levels stable is very important because high glucose can trigger vaginal infections like BV or yeast. Focus on eating a clean, low-sugar diet and consult your doctor immediately. They will prescribe pregnancy-safe antibiotics to clear it up safely.

Didi, bilkul chinta mat karo. Pregnancy me ye sab thoda chalte rehta hai. Par aap apne se koi dawa ya gharelu nuskha mat aazmana, seedhe doctor didi ke paas jao. Woh aasan si dawa dengi aur aap jaldi thik ho jaogi.

Just like managing blood pressure during pregnancy, treating infections requires regular doctor follow-ups and a healthy lifestyle. Make sure you complete the full course of whatever medication your gynac gives you, even if the symptoms stop early. Rest well and drink plenty of water.
