How to treat baby fever after vaccination?

My baby got her vaccination yesterday, and now she has a fever. It's making me a bit anxious. What's the best way to treat this post-vaccination fever at home?

Hey! My little one also got a slight fever after vaccines. Our paediatrician said light activity is fine if the baby is comfortable, but rest is key. Just keep them hydrated and comfy, maybe some gentle stretches or massage if they're up for it, but mostly just lots of cuddles. Always best to check with your doc though!

Namma baby also got a little warm after vaccination. My mother-in-law said to give a warm bath and lots of hugs. We usually do that, and also make sure they are not too hot or too cold. But always, always call your paediatrician if you are worried. They know best, right?

Don't stress too much, most babies get a mild fever after vaccination, it's their body building immunity. Just make sure they're comfy, lots of fluids, and maybe some gentle cuddles. If the fever spikes or they seem really unwell, don't hesitate to call your doctor, okay? You're doing great, don't worry.

For post-vaccination fever, our doctor specifically advised paracetamol drops (age/weight appropriate dose, please confirm with your paediatrician!). He also said to avoid bundling the baby up too much, light clothing is better. Lukewarm sponging can help too, but never cold water. Keep an eye on any rashes or if the fever goes too high, then definitely call the doctor.

Ah, vaccination fever is common. Like how I manage my BP, it's all about consistent care. Keep your baby hydrated, maybe give them a lukewarm bath. If the fever is high or they seem very uncomfortable, a doctor visit is a must. Don't take chances with little ones. Better to get regular checkups done.
