How to test the acidity of your body?

Lately, I've been feeling very tired and having some digestive issues. A friend told me that sometimes it's because the body is too acidic. How can one test the acidity of their body?

I totally get why you are asking this, I also spent hours googling body acidity because of my stomach issues and got super stressed. It turned out to be just general anxiety and IBS. Don't worry too much, just consult a doctor instead of buying random pH test kits.

There is a lot of wellness hype online about alkalizing your body, but medically, your lungs and kidneys keep your blood pH strictly balanced. If you are experiencing chronic acid reflux or metabolic issues, it is best to visit a gastroenterologist for a proper diagnosis.

Honestly bro, I used to think my whole body was acidic because of constant burning in my chest. I read about pH strips online but my doc told me that's mostly for urine and saliva, not your actual blood. Just get a normal blood test if you're worried about your health.

Haha, I thought my body was acidic because of hostel food and late night maggi. My biology senior told me our blood pH is always around 7.4 and we can't test it casually. Just drink water and avoid oily stuff, you'll be fine.

Your body's blood pH doesn't change easily with food, but you can definitely feel 'acidic' in your gut if you eat too much junk. Focus on eating leafy greens, drinking enough water, and staying active. No need to test anything unless you actually feel sick.

I have tried everything from apple cider vinegar to baking soda water to balance my acidity. Honestly, a glass of cold milk or some fennel seeds (saunf) after meals works best for instant relief. Don't get caught up in complicated tests, just simple home habits help.

I was suffering from bad heartburn and gas last year. Instead of searching for tests, I just cut down on my daily three cups of strong filter coffee and spicy food. My acidity went away completely in a week, so maybe try tracking your food first.

Please don't ignore severe acidity or try to self-test. I kept taking local antacids for months thinking it was just gas, but it turned out to be a severe ulcer that got complicated. Go to a proper doctor and get an endoscopy done if it persists.

I am also trying to understand this because I feel very tired and bloated lately. Is there actually a blood test we can get done at a lab to check this? Or do we have to consult a specialist first to get it prescribed?

Why go for expensive tests when you can just observe your body? If you have sour burps, bloating, or burning in your throat, it is simple stomach acidity. Just eat your dinner early by 8 PM and drink some coconut water daily, it works wonders.
