How to take protein powder for weight loss?

I've started working out and want to shed some extra kilos. My gym trainer suggested protein powder, but I'm confused about how to use it specifically for weight loss, not just muscle gain. What's the best way?

Before you start any protein supplement, please get a kidney function test done to ensure your body can handle the extra protein load safely. Some cheap brands also have heavy metals, so check with a dietitian first to get a safe, tested brand recommendation.

I tried drinking methi water and skipping dinners, but nothing worked until I simply increased my daily protein. Using a scoop of unsweetened protein powder in my morning sattu shake really helped curb my hunger. Just make sure you don't buy ones with added sugars.

Don't listen to gym trainers online who tell you to drink three shakes a day to melt fat, that is just marketing. Protein powder is just a supplement, not a magic weight loss drug. Ask a qualified doctor or clinical nutritionist how much you actually need based on your body weight.

Hey, don't stress too much about finding the perfect timing! Just mix one scoop of whey with water or low-fat milk as a mid-afternoon snack to keep you full. It stops those 4 PM junk food cravings easily, trust me.

Remember, drinking a protein shake and then eating a plate of chole bhature won't help you lose weight, haha! Use it to replace a heavy snack, not as a dessert after your meals. Keep it simple and don't overthink it!
