How to stop mounjaro hair loss female?

I've started taking Mounjaro for my diabetes, and while it's helping with my blood sugar, my hairfall has become really bad. Every time I comb, it's just so much hair coming out. Is there something specific I can do to stop this, especially since I'm a woman?

Dealing with PCOS has taught me how fragile hair health can be. Mounjaro causes rapid weight loss which often triggers this shedding, but please don't experiment with heavy supplements on your own. It is always safer to let your endocrinologist run a quick blood test first to check your iron and thyroid levels.

Please don't let this stress you out too much as stress only makes hair fall worse. Keep your mind calm and focus on nourishing your body with simple, home-cooked food. Trust the healing process, take deep breaths, and let your body adjust to the new changes slowly.

I am also facing this exact same issue right now and honestly it is making me so nervous. Did your shedding start suddenly in the second month or was it gradual? I really hope this is just a temporary phase because seeing so much hair in the drain every morning is terrifying.

This hair fall issue is so annoying yaar. Actually, when you lose weight fast on these medicines, your body goes into a temporary shock mode and hair starts shedding. Make sure you are hitting your daily protein target, and talk to your doc about a good biotin supplement.

While temporary hair shedding is a known side effect of rapid weight loss, self-treating isn't the best path. It's highly recommended to consult your prescribing doctor or a dermatologist who can evaluate if you need a specific dosage adjustment or targeted supplements. They will help you manage this safely without impacting your overall treatment.
