I started Mounjaro for my diabetes and it's working well, but I've noticed a significant amount of hair loss lately. It's making me really self-conscious. What can I do to stop or at least reduce this hair loss while on Mounjaro?

I tried everything from onion juice to curry leaves oil when my hair started thinning. While those keep the scalp healthy, the hair loss from rapid weight loss is internal, so focusing on protein intake is much more practical.

Make sure you track your daily macros on a fitness app to ensure you are getting at least 60-80g of protein. When you are eating very little on Mounjaro, your body cuts off nutrients to your hair first.
