How to stop menopause weight gain?

Since menopause started, I've noticed I'm gaining weight around my stomach, and it's becoming difficult to manage. I'm trying to be active and eat well, but it seems stubborn. What strategies are effective to stop menopause weight gain?

My sister was struggling so much with this sudden weight gain around her belly during menopause. I helped her plan simple, home-cooked meals with lots of dal and fiber, and she slowly started feeling lighter. You just need patience and consistent daily walks.

I know how stressful it is to watch your body change so fast without any change in your diet, it really makes you feel anxious about your health. Please don't go on crash diets; focus on strength training and consult your doctor to check your hormonal health.

I panicked so much when I gained 8 kgs in just a few months during my menopause transition. But my gynecologist reassured me that our metabolism naturally slows down during this shift. Once I accepted it and adjusted my portions, my weight stabilized nicely.

Haan yaar, menopause mein weight badhna toh bahut common hai, par hume darna nahi chahiye. Thoda sugar kam karo aur sham ko walk pe jaya karo, body apne aap adjust ho jayegi, haina?

My doctor explained that the loss of estrogen makes our bodies store more fat around the abdomen. They advised focusing on lean protein to prevent muscle loss and adding moderate weight training to keep the basal metabolic rate up.
