How to stop hair loss from blood thinners?

My father is on blood thinners for a heart condition, and his hair has started falling out quite a lot. He's very worried about it. How can we help him stop hair loss that's possibly from his medication?

Blood thinners causing hair loss? As if I don't have enough to keep track of with my health already! 😂 Definitely something to bring up with the prescribing doctor. No point adding more stress to life.

It's so concerning when medications have these side effects, especially hair loss. It can really affect your confidence. Please know it's completely normal to feel upset and anxious about it.

Hey, yaar, blood thinners are important for your health so don't stress too much about the hair loss. Just talk to your doc about it. Maybe they can adjust something or suggest supplements that won't interfere.

My grandad takes blood thinners, and he did notice some hair thinning. His doctor told him it's a known side effect and to focus on healthy eating and gentle hair care. It didn't stop completely but it didn't get worse either.

Hello, I'm new here. Is hair loss a very common side effect of blood thinners, or does it only happen sometimes? And can anything be done about it without stopping the medicine?
