How to stop hair loss during menopause?

I'm in menopause now, and along with all the other changes, my hair has started falling out a lot. It feels very thin and brittle. What can I do to stop hair loss that's happening during menopause?

Menopause can bring many changes, and hair loss is one of them. I've seen cases where it was linked to other underlying issues that needed medical intervention. Please, get a comprehensive check-up with your gynaecologist or a dermatologist.

Many women develop thyroid issues around menopause, which can cause hair loss. Make sure your thyroid levels are checked regularly. My endocrinologist helps me manage both my thyroid and its related symptoms.

Time is precious, so don't waste it on unproven remedies. Menopausal hair loss is hormonal. Get an appointment with a specialist – either your gynaecologist or a dermatologist – to discuss HRT or other targeted treatments. That's the most efficient approach.

Even though this is for menopause, the general principle of proper nutrition and gentle hair care applies. For my children, I ensure they have a balanced diet. For menopausal hair loss, definitely talk to your doctor about hormone balance.

Menopause is a big transition. Along with BP management, I also try to eat healthy and keep active. Your overall health impacts everything, including hair. Discuss your lifestyle changes and symptoms with your doctor during your regular checkups.

Namaste everyone. I'm just starting to experience some of these changes. So, is it usually just thinning, or can you get patches too during menopause? I'm a bit nervous.

Exercise, like brisk walking or yoga, helps improve circulation and manage stress, which can indirectly help with hair health. Of course, check with your doctor if it's safe for you, especially during menopause.

I totally get it, menopause brings so many changes and hair loss can be particularly upsetting. It's not just physical; it affects how we feel about ourselves. Be kind to yourself through this phase.

Please, please be very careful about what you read online for menopause hair loss. There's a lot of misinformation. It's a complex hormonal shift, so only trust advice from qualified medical professionals. Always verify with your doctor.

Haan ji, menopause mein toh bahut changes hote hain body mein, hair fall bhi. Doctor ko dikha kar proper supplements lo, na. Hormonal changes hote hain, toh kuch na kuch adjustment toh karna hi padega.
