How to stop hair fall due to thyroid?

My doctor told me my hair fall is due to my thyroid issue. I've been on medication for a few months, but the hair fall hasn't really stopped. Is there anything specific I can do to control it?

My aunt had thyroid issues and hair fall. She would always say to keep an eye on her diet and take her medicines on time. She also used homemade hair packs with hibiscus and curry leaves. But the most important thing is to regularly check your thyroid levels with your doctor and adjust medication if needed.

If thyroid is the cause, the first step is to ensure your thyroid medication is correct and your levels are stable. This needs regular check-ups. For hair fall, use a mild shampoo, oil your hair gently, and make sure your diet has enough protein and iron. These practical steps help support your hair while your body heals.

Beta, if it's due to thyroid, then your doctor's medicine is the most important thing. Once your thyroid levels are stable, the hair fall usually reduces and new hair starts coming in. Be patient, it takes time for the body to heal. Just keep taking your medicine diligently and eat well.

For thyroid-related hair fall, managing your thyroid levels with medication is key, as your doctor will advise. Also, just like with diabetes, a low-inflammatory, balanced diet is very important. Avoid processed foods and excessive sugar, as they can sometimes interfere with overall hormone balance and recovery.

Thyroid hair fall, ugh. As if trying to balance hormones isn't already a full-time job without losing half your hair! Honestly, if it's thyroid, then sticking to your doc's plan for meds is like 90% of the battle. The other 10% is probably trying to get some sleep and not stressing over every strand you lose. Good luck!
