How to stop cortisol weight gain?

My doctor mentioned my cortisol levels were high due to stress, and it's making me gain weight, especially around my stomach. I'm trying to manage stress, but the weight isn't going anywhere. Any tips on how to stop this cortisol weight gain?

Honestly, the best thing for cortisol is managing stress. Try to get enough sleep, like 7-8 hours. Also, cutting down on processed foods and sugary drinks really helps. Small changes can make a big difference, don't need fancy stuff.

Cortisol weight gain can be really frustrating, I know the feeling with my PCOS. It's not just about diet or exercise sometimes. Please talk to a doctor about managing your stress and maybe they can suggest some tests to see if there's an underlying cause. Don't push yourself too hard.

Cortisol, huh? Sounds like my body's trying to store emergency rations for an alien invasion! 😂 But seriously, stress is a villain. Try laughing more, maybe watch some silly videos? And less midnight snacking, even if that biryani calls your name!

This sounds like something worth discussing with a specialist. When I had a similar issue, my doctor at Apollo suggested proper diagnostics. Don't self-diagnose based on online info; ask your doctor directly about cortisol levels and weight management strategies tailored for you.

I totally get why you'd be worried about this. The anxiety itself can sometimes make things worse. First, know that you're not alone. Maybe try some gentle exercise like walking or yoga, and definitely prioritize relaxation. It's a journey, be kind to yourself.
