How to stop constipation in pregnancy?

I'm in my second trimester and have been struggling with severe constipation for the past few weeks. It's so uncomfortable and making me feel really bloated. Is there anything safe I can do to stop constipation during pregnancy?

Constipation in pregnancy needs to be handled gently. Fibre and hydration are key, but always check with your gynaecologist before taking any supplements or laxatives, even over-the-counter ones. What might be okay otherwise, could be different during pregnancy.

I've read that constipation is super common in pregnancy due to hormones and pressure on intestines. Drinking lots of water and eating fiber-rich foods like fruits, veggies, and whole grains are often recommended. Also, staying active helps!

Constipation in pregnancy can be so uncomfortable and make you feel really down. It's okay to struggle with it. Focusing on gentle dietary changes like adding more fruit and maintaining good hydration can be helpful, but always talk to your gynaecologist for personalized advice.

Oh, this is such a common complaint! I found that having a warm glass of water with a bit of lemon first thing in the morning really helped. Plus, adding more ragi, oats, and leafy greens to my diet made a huge difference. And gentle walks too!

Yaar, constipation during pregnancy is the worst, actually! My doc told me to drink loads of water, like seriously, and add more fiber – think oats, fruits, salads. Small walks also help. Don't strain yourself, pls.

I'm not pregnant yet, but I hear about this a lot. Is it just about diet and water, or do people need medicines sometimes? What kind of foods really help the most?

My wife had severe constipation during her first pregnancy and we almost ignored it, thinking it's normal. But it got really bad. Please, discuss with your gynaecologist. They can recommend safe remedies or specific dietary changes. Don't wait too long.

For constipation during pregnancy, my mother used to say soak a few prunes overnight and eat them in the morning. Many doctors also recommend this, along with increased water intake and dietary fiber. But always confirm with your gynaecologist, as they know your specific health situation best.

Bhai, for pregnancy constipation, only two things work best: lots of water and lots of fiber. Eat fruits, veggies, whole grains. Walk a bit if your doctor allows. If still stuck, talk to your gynaecologist. Don't try any random churna.
