How to soothe pregnancy nausea?

My sister is pregnant and she's struggling badly with constant nausea, almost all day. She can barely eat anything. What can she try to soothe this pregnancy nausea?

During both my pregnancies, keeping a dry biscuit or rusk on the bedside table and eating it before getting out of bed helped immensely. This phase will pass soon, beta. Just eat whatever simple foods you can tolerate right now.

I am in my eighth week and the nausea is so bad I can't even look at food without feeling sick. Did anyone else feel completely weak and unable to eat anything in the first trimester? I am really worried about the baby's nutrition.

Take deep breaths and try to stay calm, as stress can sometimes worsen physical discomfort. Smelling fresh lemon or sipping ginger-infused warm water can help soothe your senses. Keep your mind peaceful and take care of your health.

Ah, the famous morning sickness that actually lasts twenty-four hours! I remember living on plain khichdi and lemon water because everything else smelled like an enemy. Don't worry, once the baby comes, you will forget all this struggle.

Instead of buying expensive pregnancy morning-sickness candies, just try simple home remedies like sniffing fresh lemon or chewing on dry ginger. Also, make sure to discuss this during your regular ultrasound visits so you don't have to pay for extra consultations.
