How to soothe pain from wisdom teeth?

Since yesterday, my wisdom tooth has been bothering me quite a lot, especially when I eat. It's causing a constant dull ache and sometimes even throbs. Any home remedies or quick fixes to get some relief?

Ah, the tooth that brings zero wisdom and only pure pain! I lived on cold milkshakes and ice cream for three days to numb the ache. Go see your dentist before you end up chewing your food like a baby.

I completely panicked when my jaw locked up and swelled on one side, thinking my face would stay like this. My dentist reassured me it's just the wisdom tooth pushing through and is very normal. A simple extraction resolved it without any pain!

I tracked my symptoms on my health app and noticed the pain flares up when my sleep quality drops. Doing cold compresses for ten minutes really helps reduce the inflammation. Make sure to schedule a dental x-ray to see if the tooth is impacted.

Warm salt water rinses are an absolute lifesaver for wisdom tooth ache! Try doing it 3-4 times a day to keep the area clean and reduce the swelling. Hope you feel better very soon!

I tried everything from pressing cloves to applying herbal pastes, but the relief was always temporary. What actually works to manage the discomfort until your dentist appointment is warm saline rinses and soft, non-spicy foods.

Please don't delay visiting a dentist if you have swelling near your jaw. I kept ignoring my wisdom tooth pain, and it ended up causing a severe deep gum infection that required minor surgery. Get a proper dental checkup done immediately.
