How to sleep with straightened hair?

I recently got my hair straightened at the salon, and it looks great. But I'm so worried about messing it up while sleeping. How can I sleep without ruining the straight look?

Yes, a satin bonnet is the best way to keep chemically straightened hair from getting frizzy or bent overnight.

While managing my diet and health, I also advise my daughter about her hair. She uses a loose silk scrunchie to tie her straightened hair high up before sleep. Just make sure the scalp doesn't sweat too much as it can cause itching.

To preserve straightened hair, reducing friction is key, so satin pillowcases are recommended. However, if your scalp feels greasy or irritated after chemical treatments, please visit a dermatologist rather than applying more hair products.

I track everything from sleep quality to hydration! To sleep comfortably without worrying about your straightened hair, wrap it loosely in a silk scarf. It prevents sweat buildup on your neck and keeps the hair perfectly straight.

Look, don't overcomplicate this. Just buy a cheap satin pillowcase from any local market. Sleep flat on your back, throw your hair upwards over the pillow, and you are good to go.
