How to sleep with short curly hair?

I've recently cut my hair short and curly, and now it gets all messed up when I sleep. I wake up with it looking like a bird's nest! How can I sleep without completely ruining my short curly hair?

Hey, don't worry about ruining your curls overnight, it is super easy to manage. Just switch to a silk or satin pillowcase tonight; it reduces friction completely so your curls don't get frizzy while you sleep. You've got this, your hair will look great in the morning.

I used to get so stressed about my curls getting flattened and breaking at night, it literally kept me awake worrying. What finally helped me relax was wearing a loose satin bonnet before going to bed. It keeps all the curls perfectly in place and saved me so much sleep anxiety.

Using a satin bonnet is a great idea, but if you are experiencing hair breakage or scalp pain when sleeping, make sure you get your scalp checked. Sometimes tight hair ties or damp hair at night can cause fungal issues. Keep your scalp dry and safe.

I just cut my hair short and my curls are all over the place when I wake up. I want to try using a silk scarf to tie them at night, but I am not sure how to wrap it properly without it sliding off. Does anyone have a simple way to tie it?

Look, don't overcomplicate this. Just buy a satin pillowcase from Amazon and sleep normally. If your curls still look a bit messy in the morning, just spray a little water, scrunch them, and you are ready to go. No need to stress so much about it.

Skip the cotton pillowcases immediately, they completely ruin short curls. Just use a high-quality silk bonnet or do the pineapple method if your hair is long enough to pull up. It takes literally two seconds and keeps your curls intact till morning.
