How to sleep with body aches from flu?

I've been down with the flu for a few days, and these body aches are just killing me. Every muscle hurts, and I can't get into a comfortable position to sleep. What's the best way to get some rest with all this pain?

When I had the severe flu last year, the doctors at Fortis advised me to stay well hydrated and take prescribed paracetamol. It is always best to ask your doctor clearly about the right medication dose to manage the aches so you can sleep peacefully.

Managing flu aches is tough, especially when you have diabetes and your blood sugars can fluctuate from stress. Take a warm, steam bath before bed to soothe the muscles, and stick to sugar-free warm fluids like herbal tea.

Just take a warm shower right before hitting the bed and use a memory foam pillow to support your neck and lower back. Don't overcomplicate it, keep your room cool, and let your body rest.

Look, body aches mean your body is fighting the virus and needs total rest. Stop scrolling your phone, take your doctor's prescribed medicine, apply some vapor rub on your chest, and just sleep flat on your back.

When my body aches from flu, I just crave a hot bowl of spicy chicken soup or garlic rasam. It clears my sinuses and the warmth really helps soothe my sore muscles so I can pass out comfortably.

I have tried everything from mustard oil massages to herbal decoctions for flu aches. A warm cup of turmeric milk (haldi doodh) right before bed along with a warm compress on your back works wonders to relax your body for sleep.
