Anxiety and sleep is a tough combo, I know. For me, it's about strict routine. I finish all work related thoughts by a certain time, then a quick wind-down activity like listening to a podcast. Trying to meditate but sometimes just clearing the to-do list helps my mind relax enough to sleep.
When my anxiety hits, I sometimes crave sugary stuff, but that's a no-no for sleep! I try to have a warm cup of herbal tea (camomile is great!) and some light, comforting food, like a small bowl of dal-rice, a couple of hours before bed. Nothing too heavy or exciting for the tummy!
It's so tough when anxiety keeps you up! 😔 Try a calming bedtime routine like a warm shower and listening to soothing music. Maybe some gentle stretching too! Remember to be kind to yourself! ✨
When anxiety is high, sleep feels impossible, I know. Try to practice some deep breathing exercises. Just focus on your breath, in and out, gently. Don't force yourself to sleep, just focus on relaxing your body and mind. It will come eventually. Be patient.

Anxiety can definitely be a symptom of thyroid issues, so if you haven't recently, please get your thyroid levels checked. An imbalance can make it very hard to sleep. Always consult your doctor for proper diagnosis and management alongside other strategies.
