How to self examine your stomach for pregnancy?

My period is late by almost two weeks, and I'm feeling a bit nauseous. I'm anxious and don't want to go to the doctor yet. Is there a way I can try to self-examine my stomach to see if I might be pregnant?

I was reading about this online out of curiosity, and apparently you cannot feel any physical change in your stomach during the early weeks. It is mostly just bloating at first.

I know the anxiety of waiting and hoping can make you constantly touch your stomach looking for signs. Take a deep breath, and let a proper doctor's test give you the peace of mind you deserve.

As a mother of two, I can tell you that your stomach only starts feeling firm and showing much later, around the second trimester. In the beginning, only a strip test or an ultrasound can give you the truth.

Actually, you can't tell anything just by touching your belly, yaar. Better to just run to the local pharmacy and get a Prega News kit, it takes barely two minutes.

There is absolutely no medical way to confirm a pregnancy by pressing or feeling your own stomach. Please do not trust internet myths; buy a simple home urine pregnancy test or get a beta-hCG blood test done.
